The Day of Doom

Literary Studies

To me, The Day of Doom is one of the most Iconic pieces of its time due to how effective it was in small public of the time. It was really the only public piece of the time that painted a vivid picture of what would result after death at the hands of God if you died with accepting Jesus. A prelude to the sermon “A Sinner In The Hands Of An Angry God” which really started a new awakening of Christianity, but Day of Doom was certainly, in my opinion, an awakening of its own sort during its time with how it made people look at the prospect of death without God.
