\nViolently flung in space
\ncentrifugally exploding
\nin the tension of the movement away from its rest and
\nthe opposing force of the pulling
\ncord
\nIn the flash of freedom
\nit is set aright
\non its axis
\nthat single point on a plane a
\nvector
\nAnd it spins
\nrotating circling moving gyrating
\nfull of life and vital
\nvery present and
\nspatial
\nBut friction and gravity and wind
\nthe unevenness of the floor
\ncalls to its momentum
\nand lost inertia
\nanswers
\nThere is a tilt
\na lean a wobble
\nout of plumb
\nenergy is
\ndissipating
\nThe sides sway over the center and it
\ncatches itself the grip is
\nrelinquished and
\nsways again against the center seeking
\nforce
\nNot out of control
\nthe ellipse grows till
\nside meets floor
\nand it is at
